Pitchblak Brass Band is a ten-piece brass collective comprised of composers, producers, artists, rappers, strivers, hustlers, and superstars. Hailed as NYC's only hip hop brass band, PitchBlak has been rocking the Northeast since 2010 with their original dance-worthy music, which combines robust horns, Afro-Caribbean beats, soaring jazz solos, and tongue-twisting raps. In addition to performing at prominent venues in New York City, including 92YTribeca, Southpaw, and a sold-out headlining performance at Brooklyn Bowl, PitchBlak most recently played to enthusiastic crowds at the NXNE festival in Toronto. Because of each member's diverse musical background and training, PitchBlak is active in teaching and mentoring young musicians in New York, and prides itself on giving back to the community. The Fresh Kicks is a band that was years in the making. High school friends Mike Mullin (bass/vox) , Will Brown (guitar/vox), and Anthony Tedesco (drums) had been jamming together for years in Troy, NY. While attending the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, Will met Aaron Welcher (guitar/vox) in Music Theory 101 during their freshmen year. They became great friends at school and even played in a band together their senior year. After graduation, Aaron moved to Syracuse and Will back to the capital district where he continued playing and writing music with Anthony and Mike. After a few months, Will knew Aaron would be the perfect piece to fill out the sound and told Aaron that he should move and come play in the band. After very little consideration, Aaron moved to Albany in June 2012. Since then The Fresh Kicks have been in full swing, writing music and playing shows in the area.

Way Down is a powerful trio from Albany New York pushing the outer bounds of modern jazz fusion. With their own new take on groove and improvisation they're sure you haven't heard anything quite like it. The group came together soon after bassist Dylan Perrillo and drummer Kevin Urvalek graduated from The Crane School of Music together. Guitarist Justin Henricks was added to the duo per Dylan's recommendation and after just one rehearsal the three knew that they had found something special. Way Down is brand new to the Albany scene and constantly working at getting heard, they are very excited to see what the future will hold.
